Business on the rise as UK ports surge

Share

An upturn in business across many key UK ports has led to a number of DAF XF48 leasing deals with new customers.

These include a new contract to supply of seven vehicles to Norfolk-based Matthews International Transport; a five vehicle deal with Exodus Transport in Felixstowe and an agreement to supply two further vehicles to Warrington-based haulage, logistics and warehousing company Revolution Transport.

We’ve also landed a deal to supply six DAFs to 3D Transport, a family owned bulk haulage company based in North Northumberland, and a five vehicle order with Liverpool logistics firm Ammax Northwest Ltd.

Axis Managing Director, Leigh Goodland said: “These new contracts are among the growing volume of new deals we’ve secured following investment in our team across the UK. While these new customers work across all aspects of the transport and haulage sector, we are seeing a notable rise in ports activity, especially at Felixstowe and Liverpool, which is contributing to the increased requirement for quality assets within the companies we are delighted to be servicing.

“The flexibility and accessibility of a long-term hire contract, supported by our total service offering is an option which continues to appeal to our customers.”
